Oak Ridge Computer Science Girls (ORCS Girls for short) organizes free classes for middle school girls who wish to learn coding throughout the first half of 2018. Topics include coding basics, virtual reality, machine learning, text mining, cyber security, and more. But each class is kept at a level where a newcomer can understand it.

Sessions are Saturday mornings. For more information please visit their website, and for the complete list of events, head on over here.
I have and will continue to help out with some of these sessions, so come say hi if you see me!
It was a ton of fun, learnt more than I expected teaching, and cannot wait to volunteer again. Keep it up @ORCSGirls #WomenInSTEM #GirlsWhoCode https://t.co/HQ38WLVXYn
